People have differing opinions, on most everything. Really that is what I love about our society is that we can discuss, argue and yell at each other over a subject we feel so strongly about. A heated discussion on a topic over a beer or even a public forum can be very invigorating. The key to this is we hear each other’s side weigh it against are knowledge of the subject, the facts at hand, and are personal opinions. We hear the other person’s argument and evaluate it against ours and then make our counter if need be, if we believe their facts, interpretations, and opinions are mistaken or just flat wrong.

Well that would really be how it is supposed to work, how it really works today is that people believe they are so completely right and you are so completely stupid that they are pissed we are even having this conversation. One or both side’s arguments are filled with so much emotion that not one single fact can break itself free of the bleeding heart prison it is kept in.

Instead of why do you disagree with my opinion, let me hear your reasons, you get belittled and degraded for not agreeing. It should be, well explain to me your opinion on the matter and show me some facts and I will weigh them against what I have and we will discuss it.

Today in our society we have no discussions, no arguments, we only have inquisitions. A blind attack on the enemy of your ideas, without ever hearing the other side.

The only thing worse than this, is blind folding of your will without ever saying a word, without ever trying to form your own personal opinion on the matter. The blank eyes of a zombie following the heard. No idea where or what they are chasing, they just want to belong

It has been a while since I have come on here a ranted and raved about the state of the world but well I have been a little busy. Spending time with my family, trying to convince her that the world is about the end, and all that she holds dear will be gone. Really she just smiles, pats me on the head like a good dog and says its good thing I have you then isn’t.

Is this a compliment or is she just trying to get me to shush my insolent mouth?

On to better things, is the current crop of candidates any better then what we came from? In one hand we have the socialized, up with the poor down with rich, can’t everyone just get along, you should be free to marry anything you want but you best not smoke in public places or own a *shiver* gun. And in the other hand you have the Hard work is everything, why should I share (huge fan of that portion), but Jesus is everything and anything I find icky is well icky and against god.

In Nevada it really has come down to the lesser of two evils, a balance really. What I find dearer to me and what can I bend on (aka rape my personal moral compass).

1.) I believe religious freedom is a right for any human being but should never be forced on anyone.

Sharron Angle-She believes in this but makes most of her decisions on a religious moral code, which in itself is fine except when you start using it to judge other peoples beliefs

Harry Reid-Believes in religious freedom and to be tolerant of everyone else’s, to the point where you are so tolerant, that tolerance is replaced with submission

2.) I believe every human being on this earth has the right to protect himself and is family, oh hell anyone that needs protecting at that second

Sharron Angle-Is pro-Gun rights (Huge Fan!) and believes that every person has this right and should be afforded this right.

Harry Reid-Is pro-Gun rights also but to a point, believe we have the right to them but really everyone should register them and be limited on what you can have.

EDGE Sharron Angle really because to me everyone should own a firearm and be willing and able to protect themselves. “I carry a gun because a cop is to heavy” In a matter of a second the difference between your life, the life of your loved ones and a horrible death or maiming(physical or mental) cannot and should not be a phone call away

Ahh fuck it………I was going to put down why I am Voting for Sharron Angle but I can’t really find anything about Harry Reid I like. Harry Reid and I do agree on certain subjects but he throws them so far out of the ballpark and they are so disfigured when we get them back I don’t recognize what they started out as.

So my problem with Sharron Angle (even though I am still voting for her)

I believe she is too religious in her views and to far right in how she will vote for my fair state. You see I am not a republican or a Democrat I believe in the Constitution and therefore call myself a Constitutionalist (aka terrorist according to the Feds). I believe in what the Original Document says. And although she (Sharron Angle) says she will do what’s right by the people it will be what her religious moral compass will says is right for the people.

So are we really getting something new, or are we still back to the same old, freedom to do this but don’t do that of both sides. Gays Bad Guns Good vs Guns Bad Gays good.

He was born March 1^st 1979, by the time I met him he was 25. He had already impacted so many lives. Impacted because touched is to light of a word. He was a hurricane at everything he did. The life of the party, never one to sit still. Fun couldn’t compare, to him. We skied together, we rock climbed together, we road dirt bikes together, we got divorced together. I could lie and say no one could say a bad word about him but the fits of laughter would kill me, there are way too many girls and their boyfriends out there that he impacted too. To say the least Phil made friends, everywhere we went he had another friend we would meet up with and have an unbelievable time. I will never forget his last birthday or what he did for my last Birthday. He is my best friend but I will not sit and claim to be his. He had so many best friends. He was the best friend to have. To know him was to love him and never want to live without him. He has so many great friends that now have a void in their lives that will never be replaced. We had plans, we had plans, and the future is so empty now. God woke up one morning and realized Michigan was boring and gave the people Phil, Later god realized that Michigan wasn’t the only place in need of Phil so he spread him across California, Hawaii, and Nevada. He was put here to start the party, be the party, and make beautiful girls cry.

Phil A. Bocks(thats is no shit his real name now say it fast) was Born March 1st 1978 He was taken November 9th 2007.

Human Life is Sacred?

Killing a Human being is easier then putting down a dog. Most humans when they harm other people KNOW that what they are doing is wrong and therefore deserve the most violent, swiftest response possible. The idea that it is wrong to take a life is pure crap

You say taking life is wrong, I say taking life is justice. The only right you are born with is the right to take a step forward under your own power and make choices for yourself. If you chose to become a thug and harm a innocent life, no matter the circumstances that led you to that choice, you deserve to have your life ripped out of by a one quick shot to the back of your skull.

If a man chooses to to get drunk, smoke some crack or whatever, and beats and/or rapes a woman, I now have the right to walk up to him and slide a knife through his ribs into his lungs and leave him laying on the floor and watch as his life drains out of him.

We have convicted rapists who serve a couple fucking years in prison and get out, get on a sex offender list, and move in next door. While a dog whether afraid or protective bites someone and is murdered for it without a second thought cause it is a fucking policy

My point is that a the idea that is spewed out across movies, radio, and books that have convinced society that each and every human life is precious sacred thing is pure currupted filth. Pushed on us by bleeding "it's for the children" hearts.

You make your life something by how you live, and what you do with it. It's not some door prize you get for showing up at the party. CHOICE is sacred, the idea, the concept of choice is more sacred then any life. And you try and take someone else's birthright of choice away, well lets dip your balls in a vat of acid cause that's what you deserve.

It wasn't too long ago when The warrior and The Protector of village was praised for the life's he took in the name and protection of his people. The Hardest part about it was besting your enemy in combat not the Psychological after shocks. But because of how we have evolved as society, you get "Man that must have been hard taking that mans life" even though he killed fifty people across three states and wore some sixteen year old chicks head as a hat through Missouri.

A man/woman should be proud to say they took the life of the man that tried to harm his family or his neighbors family, or that weird looken guy that works at the corners store on night shift.
The idea that you should exercise every means of retreat before you exercise deadly force is like having one foot in the grave already and it is taught to us by every facet of media today. Rammed down your throat so bad that the death of another living soul no matter how black and shriveled of a soul it may be, brings people to tears and nausea. This in itself brings me to nausea.

Praise should be given to the Cop that slays the Rapist, Praise should be given to Soldier who fells the Terrorist, and above all Praise should be given to the neighbor who see's a man enter his neighbors home with ill intent, enters that home and puts a bullet through his head.

Personal responsibility is a strange concept now, I hear people throw the word responsibility around a lot these days. You have a responsibility to the environment, you have a responsibility to people without health care, you have a responsibility to starving children in Africa, and you have a responsibility to everything else these days but yourself. Today everyone is responsible for everyone else but themselves! We should have nationalized healthcare! Why? Why should I be responsible for you? Well because every man women and child deserve to see a doctor if they are in need. Why? Because you are sick you have the right to somebody else’s property. Why? Because you are sick you get to take food off someone else’s table. Why? Because you are sick you can take somebody else’s wallet and pay your bills with it. Why? Because I have the right to walk into your house and take what I need because I deserve it. Why? Why am I responsible for you? Why should I be held responsible for some kid getting his high school sweetheart pregnant? I am not responsible for your decisions; I am not responsible for you. You say everyone deserves the right, I say everyone earns their own rights. You earn it by taking responsibility for yourself!

Today people believe they have a responsibility to protect you from yourself, when these same people are cannot even take responsibility for themselves. It’s not my fault I got behind the wheel drunk and drove into that school bus, it was my mothers. It’s not my fault I got fired from work; my boss just has it out for me. These same people wish to control the way you live your life, to control your pursuit of happiness, while at the same giving the power over their own lives to someone else.

The loss of control is the loss of power over yourself. It is not taken from you as much as you just give it away. It is just given away when you let someone else take control of you, when they force their personal control on you. When you look at gun laws, what do you see? I see the government taking away my power to control my own life. I don’t see someone protecting others I see the loss of my personal freedom of choice. When I see restrictions on what I can buy or do it is a loss of power that I have given away. What is funny to me is that the same people that preach the second amendment are usually the same that say Gay marriage should be illegal! You cannot preach freedom one second and preach to take it away the very next day from someone else! I am a gun owner, I do not believe others have the right to tell me what kind of firearms I can own, what kind of configuration or register me in a data base, it is wrong. But I cannot vote the very same day vote to regulate other people, be it getting married to another guy, or telling you that you cannot buy video game because it is too violent. That is myself forcing my control on others, who only want to power to control themselves.

It is wrong to force your beliefs on someone else, it is wrong to take away something from someone else because you do not like it, or don’t agree with it. You cannot preach one freedom while trying to take another away.

If your neighbor wants to defend his house with bars and an alarm system while use a dead bolt, your dog and a shotgun, that is your choice your control over the situation. Your neighbor has no right to come over and tell you that you cannot use that shot gun let alone what breed of dog you have. I a not gay nor do I condone gay anything, It’s pretty nasty to me. I also believe boiled Greek squid is nasty, doesn’t mean I have the right to make it Illegal to make. If a man wants to marry the football jersey John Elway wore when he won his last super bowl, all the more power to him. If a woman wants to marry a cardboard cutout of Brad Pitt, oh well. What if? What if, is what I believe caused our current state of being. Preparing for what might go wrong seems to be the goal but it’s not happening. There is nothing wrong with “What if?”. We prepare for the worst to live the best.

What if someone tries to break into my house? You prepare right by upgrading your security, by getting stronger locks, by getting better doors, maybe bars for the windows. You get a dog. You may even get an alarm system. You put a nice used Louisville Slugger next to your bed right? You may even buy a gun, for now.

What are these things that you have done? They are systems of control you implemented into your home. These systems of control give you power over the outcome of what “might happen”. The doors slow the burglar down, as do the locks, possibly creating noise to alert you or your dog. The alarm system alerts Law Enforcement to what may be happening. Law Enforcement (who are themselves a system of control that may work for/with you, and against you) take time. They take time to be alerted, they take time to get to your door. So you bring out the slugger just in case. Just in case they make through everything else. Just in case they are not deterred by alarms, dogs, and police. You may even have that firearm as a last resort. Everything is because of what if?

What if your systems of control are taken away from you? What if you have been limited in the means to control your situation? The power over the outcome has been taken away. You have lost your power, and given it to someone else.

What gives people control? There are many ways you give someone else control over you, legally and the not so legal kind. The legal side, the laws we (because we are all guilty of it) let be put in to power, the laws that give someone else control over you. We made them, why? Why did we make so many laws and give so much control of our life’s to someone else. Was it for safety? A piece of mind maybe? At what point in our so called collective evolved civilization, did we decide to give away our control over our life and our decisions? We don’t truly have freedom anymore do we? I can’t see it! Freedom to do what makes us happy without bringing harm to someone else. In that statement I believe I found the flaw, the root of the issue. Harm to others, is where we begin, where we began so long ago. With the first law, we protected people from other people. Simple laws they were.

Stealing

Assault

Crime

Then things become more complicated, more ways to steal, more ways to harm others. So we make new laws, more systems of control. More more more more. Until we are at the point we are today. There is a system of control in every facet of civilization. Many are for protection from the ever evolving ability to harm others. At which point do these systems of control begin to harm us, the exact reason they were created?

Everything we do has levels of control in them. Controls we put in and controls others put in. We want to control the outcome of whatever it is we are doing. Be it making breakfast or driving cross country. We want as much control over what we are doing as possible. This gives us power, power over the outcome of a given situation.

So what is a stop light? It is a system of control over you put in by someone else. Is it bad? You would be hard pressed to find someone that thought they were. But never the less they give power over you to someone else. This seems perfectly fine when it benefits you and is for say a greater good. But what about others systems of control, like Marriage laws, or dress codes. What does this give you? What do you gain?

This is for your safety, your own good, and the greater good! Have you heard this before? I have many times, everyday. It may not be those exact words but you hear them. It is for your protection! Why do I need protected? From what? From whom? From myself? I see laws, ordnance's, and regulations everyday that are there for me and of course you. To help me through the day, to help me survive. Why do I need these? Why do I need to be told fire is hot?

In the beginning the controls were simple; they were for you and everyone else. As a form of protection. Police were not meant to be the system of control they are today. They were meant to protect you from others. Others not like you and I but the bad man the boogie man. But slowly like a class five avalanche it changed to protecting you from you.

What are these controls they are small things and very big things. From laws on carrying a knife to income taxes. These are all systems of control over you. This is Power over you.
